From March 10 to March 25, 2026, Logos is offering a Spring Deal aimed at first-time Logos users. The promotion states that when you start a Logos Pro subscription, you receive $100 off a Silver Base Package.
At first glance, this looks like a solid offer, but let’s take a closer look at what it actually means.
What the Discount Looks Like
A Silver Base Package normally costs $349.99. With the additional $100 discount, the price drops to $249.99, which equals roughly 28.5% off.
For a base package early in the year, that is a respectable discount—especially for users who are not eligible for student pricing. Since the 2026 libraries are still relatively new, the best discounts we have seen so far this year were around 20% off.
279.99 USD 20% OFF
If you were already planning to start a Logos Pro subscription, the Spring deal can therefore be considered a fairly attractive offer.
That said, the difference compared to previous deals is not dramatic. A typical 20% base package discount combined with the subscription discount would bring the total savings to around 25%. On a $349.99 package, that equals about $87.49 off—only $12.50 less than the current promotion.
In other words, the Spring deal is good, but not dramatically better than what we normally see.
Considering Future Discounts
Historically, Logos base packages tend to receive larger discounts later in the year. It would not be surprising to see 25% discounts in the near future, which would effectively become 30% off when combined with a subscription.
For that reason, if you do not currently need the Silver library, and would only purchase it because of the promotion, it may be wiser to:
- Start with the Logos Pro subscription alone, and
- Purchase a library later when discounts improve or when you know better what resources you need.
An Alternative: Study Bundles
Another option worth considering is a Study Bundle instead of a Base Package.
Unlike base libraries, Study Bundles typically do not receive additional seasonal discounts. This means there is usually less advantage in waiting for a better price later in the year.
If a Study Bundle contains resources you are genuinely interested in, it can already represent very strong value without trying to time the market. These bundles often focus on high-quality commentaries, dictionaries, and core study tools, while including fewer secondary resources that some users might consider filler.
A Note for Students
If you are a student, this Spring deal is largely irrelevant.
Once you verify your student status with Logos, you receive:
- 30% off subscriptions
- 30% off base packages
- 35% off base packages when combined with a subscription
That discount is significantly better than the Spring promotion and is available year-round.
Students should therefore consider this strategy:
- Register student status with Logos.
- Start the 2-month free trial of Logos Pro or Logos Max.
- Use the trial period to learn the software and identify which resources you actually need.
- Purchase a base package or study bundle later, once you know what will benefit your study most.
A Potential (But Not Guaranteed) Advantage for Existing Users
It is also important to view this deal through the lens of Logos’s dynamic pricing. If you already own a significant Logos library, the upfront cost of the Silver Base Package is often reduced because you already own many of its component resources. For these existing users, the value proposition could be dramatic. For example, if your dynamic pricing lowers the Silver Library to $250, the additional $100 off would bring it down to $150—a 40% discount on an already personalized price. If your current library is even more extensive, pushing the base package price down to $200 or $150, the $100 off would result in a massive 50% to 66% discount.
However, there is a significant catch. According to the promotion’s fine print, this offer is intended for first-time Silver Base Package buyers who are also new to a paid Logos Pro subscription. The system may not apply the extra $100 discount for everyone, even if they qualify for dynamic pricing. There is no guarantee it will work for existing users, but given how Logos promotions sometimes function, there is a chance the discount codes could stack in your favor. If you already own a good portion of the Silver library and have been waiting for a reason to upgrade, it is worth testing the offer at checkout. If it works, it would be an outstanding deal.
If you are an existing user and try this, please consider sharing your experience in the comments to let others know if it worked for you!
Final Thoughts
If you do not yet own Logos Bible Software, it is always a good time to start. Logos is a powerful study platform that can greatly help you dig deeper into Scripture.
This analysis is not meant to discourage anyone from purchasing Logos during this promotion. Rather, the goal is to help you make an informed purchasing decision and optimize your spending on Logos resources.
Personally, I can absolutely recommend starting a Logos subscription. Just make sure you understand how this Spring deal compares to other discounts so you can decide whether now is the right time to purchase a library or whether it might be worth waiting.
